To be eligible to register to vote, you must:
  • be a citizen of the United States
  • be 18 or older on or before the General Election
  • not be a convicted felon. If you have been convicted of a felony, your civil rights must have been restored.
  • not have been judged “mentally incompetent” in a court of law.
New registrations, address changes, or name changes must be made no later than October 9, 2012, by close of business day, for the General Election.

    • Print and complete the registration form.
    • Drop off the registration card at the Election Center, any Jefferson County Clerk branch or office, or any Circuit Court Clerk’s driver’s license branch.
